Married a Schizophrenia

How is life being settled this way?
Married with a schizophrenia for more than 20 years.

Unable to work and share the responsibility to support the family. How tedious and sad. The spouse simply got to hold on to it for the sake of the children. Initially was the uncertainty of their future. But now it is clearer. The spouse cannot get a divorce as the love is still strong. Is there really love or sympathy? The power of love even if you know that your spouse has terminal disease. Simply hang on to it. Deprived of a normal life and physical contact. Where are all the lovemakings and words of soft whisperings?

The children have all grown up and soon will be able to work and give support to them. What if the children do not accept the fact that one of their parent is schizohprenic? The embarassment and emotional torment in them, the years that they had lived by seeing their parents' lives. They probably cannot understand how this relationship has lasted.

No one may really understand the tormented mind. It is not what the person wants. If to know that this is going to happen, no one would want to marry and start a family.

Life is such.
Destiny plays a part.
Fate is all up to God and no one can say it is wrong or right.
The choice has been made.
Do walk the right steps.
No one is to blame or to be blamed.

Hi Serene,
Life is such but some times, I guess we just can't blame on God afterall, God gave us the frame of mind to choose. well, not trying to be spiritual or I am spiritual. Just thot of it more logically and perhaps what spiritually should be.
But I do agree that some times it can be quite torn with situation when love and sympathy is quite vaguely differentiate.

Who can put the blame on God?
No one can cross His path.
This is what I believe.
Well. Like you said, everyone has a choice.
And has to be responsible for it.
Only pray for the best that God will give.
