It was the first time that I went to the National Day Parade. I captured a lot of pictures and wished I could show them all here. The fireworks was my favourite. I had never felt so patriotic and had enjoyed the whole process. Being at the parade is just different from watching it on TV channel at home. Im not sure if I would get to go again as getting the tix was not easy. And the only thing that I hate was the crowd. This might be my first and the last.

I've never been to the NDP in my life... if I'm in Singapore to catch it... it will be in the comfort of my home with my loved ones around me...

I read an forum article recently about whether sg guys will take up arms like the Israelis to defend our home... I think when the times come... we can tell the cowards from the heros... I, for sure, will grab the nearest M16 or SAR21 to defend my home... those who flee will live with disgrace for the rest of their lives...

I remember going for the parade 4 yrs in a row when queeing for tics overnight was all the rage. It sure felt different being there and watching it on tv now. Love the fireworks the most too. Pity this is SG and fireworks come by only a few times a year. Hope you had lotsa fun!

well done gal! i'm not that patriotic myself but certainly enjoy the photo taking process. It can be quite contagious! Well, good thing you went to this round.

Being proud of the country you live in is a must, if you want to be truly happy there. I am glad to hear that you are proud of the accomplishments of yourself, family, friends, co-workers, and government. Next time find a roof top to partake in the festivities from.
