Friendfinder Ad 101 Part 3 (final!)

Remember what I think are the main problems with guys on AdultFriendFinder?

1) Their ad sucks (discussed in a previous blog)
2) Their response to an ad sucks (also taken care of)
3) They never read the woman's ad in the first place to see what she desired
4) They have unrealistic expectations

We handled 2 and 3 last time. Let's look at 4.

#4 is often mingled with 3 as well...when you send a "let's fuck" message to someone who plainly outlined that they want a monogamous relationship, you have already shot yourself in the foot.

Now, I will be the first to admit, AdultFriendFinder is about finding casual sex for a lot of the guys here. The problem is that so many of them think that with a 3 line profile and no picture, they're going to find women interested in screwing them without any preamble. I wonder if they have experienced this in real life - do they walk into bars and have women draped all over them, asking them to take them home? I doubt it. Otherwise, they wouldn't be on AdultFriendFinder.

One thing my female friends have all commented on about AdultFriendFinder is that guys seem to think that because a woman is advertising here that they are desperate for sex. A woman who is interested in a sexual partner seems to be like blood in the water to a sharkload of guys...they get all worked up and lose their sense of perspective. But none of the women I've known could ever be considered "desperate." If anyone was desperate, it was the guys answering the ads.

Is that how you want to look to a prospective partner? Desperate? I doubt it. Remember, I said it before, but there are very few (real) nymphomaniacs here on AdultFriendFinder. And yes, there are a decent number of fake ads - most pretty easily recognizable (female, standard members, usually in 20's advertising that they want to be fucked hard, age is not a problem). I received an email the other day from a purported 20 year old asian girl who was looking for a fuck partner close to her age. Then she noted ages 20-40 were good for um...what does she want, someone close to her age or not? Her ad was one contradiction after another - obviously a fake either harvesting pics or looking for email addys.

So, if you come on here expecting a different sex partner every weekend, you had better be smooth, sexy and terribly attractive. It is likely possible to have this happen - however, considering most guy's inabilty to write a coherent sentence, it isn't likely. Take a look at your attempts to woo women here - and take a realistic look at yourself. Are you 35 with a gut and you keep sending messages to 20 year old mega-babes? You're going to get shot down! Of course, there may be that one woman who has a thing for older out of shape guys...c'mon...who are ya fooling?

Focus on women with actual memberships first. They're paying customers - so they are less likely to be fake. Sure, there are a decent number of women who are standard members, since women have the luxury here of being able to sit back and have the messages pour in from lonely guys. But really read the'll begin to see patterns for those that are pretty likely to be fake.

Oh, and forget winking! If you don't have the gumption to send an email to someone, don't expect them to have the interest in taking the time to wade through all the winks they get. Just send an email! Tell them WHY they should respond to you. Be a gentleman. Spell well (there's a spell check you can use before sending, for heaven's sake). Smile. This is all about having fun - so have some fun!

Best of luck to you all!
