On my previous blog there was a cute little story that I had posted in the beginning of the song....I posted thr story, but it is now lost in blog land somewhere. I will post my little story now...Sorry for letting my blog go to seed....

The one good thing about getting older is also getting wiser. Now that I am older I don't have the desire to drink and party all night like I did in my early twenties. I have friends that still do. Once in a blue moon I will spend an evening out but it sure seems like a lot of work to me now. You have to invest alot of time into evenings like that, which may drag on into the morning. Geez, who has that kind of time? My single girlfriends insist on meeting men drunk at a bar but I don't think this is the best way for them to meet men. If I had to do it all over again it would be easy to meet a man. I see good looking men all of the time just approaching them would be the hard thing to overcome shyness. Maybe having a few drinks help my single friends overcome their shyness but their approach to meeting men has not worked for them so far...

So I'm pretty sure I know why my single girlfriends are still single. They are meeting the wrong men at the wrong place and time....And it helps to be in good physicial shape too. Since I am not interested in meeting men I'm just as happy going home and going to bed early.

I am not into the bar scene myself. I find it is a lot easier to meet people by going out and doing the things I enjoy, like dancing. When I am out doing things I enjoy, I am just having fun, no pressure, no worry about what other people are going to think, I am smiling... Even if I dont meet anyone I am interested in going out with I have had fun. I have met most of the people I have gone out with that way. If I go out somewhere loking to meet people to date it usually doesnt work out that way. Just go out and do what you enjoy, and have fun.
