My day...

I woke up w/ a horrific migraine this morning. I swear it was killing me. I hit the alarm clock for an hour which didn't help at all. Then, I took a hot shower, got dressed, picked up my mother in law and we headed to the salon. I got my hair cut today...just a trim. That girl was SHAKING when she cut my hair. Poor I just said that I didn't want to lose length and I want to keep my long layers. She was so worried about cutting length that she barely even trimmed half my hair. grrrr... I walked out of the salon and my headache that had slowly gotten better w/ the help of old Vic... came back. By the time my mother in law and I got to Olive Garden I was getting blurry vision. We grabbed lunch and I grabbed old vic again and a lava flow. I rarely drink but i felt that only narcotics (lol...old vic) and alcohol could help my migraine. I was about the hurl, it was THAT freaking bad. So, the waiter obviously liked me, he kept coming to our table every 4 mins to see how we were and THIS was before we even got our food... lol. My MIL just laughed and said..."our waiter has a thing for you". Needless to say, today was a nice day to look cute, b/c this waiter brought us 2 glasses of wine "to taste" FREE!!! You know when they offer you a sample of a wine??? well, its supposed to be a tiny bit in the BOTTOM of the wine glass... he filled ours... 2
So, then, we sat there for QUITE a long time and then drove about 2 miles to the store... we shopped etc... Finally I got home around 5:30. My migraine that had subsided was back again. DAMNIT! Today was a really bad day w/ my migraines. I laid down for a lil' while then I made myself go to the gym even though I was miserable. I came home, showered, took a hot bath and here I am.
I hope everyone had a better day than I did.

Hi again Sassy,

Just read some of your blog posts to catch up on what you've been doing. I hope your migraines go away - maybe that sexathon is what you need. You seem to be striking out on your nights out. Its luck if you meet someone like that really, and of course it depends on where you go. That club sounded all wrong for you. Maybe some of your gal friends can set you up on a blind date with someone that they know, via via, if you know what I mean. Or maybe follow up on your hobbies. There must be some guys that you see down there at the gym that tickle your fancy, if you know what I mean. Gym's have a certain barrier when it comes to meeting women as most Guys dont use it as a place to hit on women. So you may have to make the first move or make yourself available.

A belated Happy St Paddy's Day .....

Good morning Sweet Sassy. Hmm, we're obviously a day behind each other in our commenting, but we seem to be having very similar life experiences of late. Yesterday, I began the day with a huge lack of sleep due to working long hours the night before getting ready for a workshop I am conducting for a group of other faculty members during this week of spring break. I spent the entire day on my feet and talking to them. I came home last night exhausted, and completely worn out. I'd had a terrible headache the entire day, due mostly to the changing weather that was causing cold humid winds to blow through and mess with my sinuses.

When I got home last night and read your question about whether anyone wanted to "play with you", my initial thought was . . . "Oh man, how great it would be to come home this evening to someone like Sassy and just "play with her" through a late dinner and some fun time before bed . . . until it was time for us to both fall asleep in each others' arms.

While I was too tired to write about anything last night, I must tell you that your short suggestive question in your blog caused some very "pleasant dreams" for me as I finally drifted off to sleep last night. Now, even though my night was "way too short", I'm at least somewhat rested as I head off to the office again this morning.

I hope your migraine is better and you have a wonderful day today. Earlier in the week you mentioned something about how weather impacts your emotions. I think it also impacts how we "feel" . . . There is a front coming from your part of the country that is supposed to be bringing us snow later this week. The weather has really been messing with the way I feel for the past few days. My head is aching and my body has been aching and I've been generally feeling like "crap". I'm not "sick" . . . I don't have a "code in my doze" . . . or anything like that . . . I just generally feel like "shit" . . . That makes it very difficult to stand before a group of colleagues and try and make them perceive that you are really "happy as hell" to be working with them all day.

Oh well, I'm off to the salt mines . . . I thought I'd drop a note this morning instead of waiting until tonight. It seems we've been a day out of sync, but experiencing some of the same kinds of feelings. I think you'd have to agree that this is pretty good evidence of how weather can impact how we feel. The wind that blew through SA day before yesterday is reaching K'ville about now. I wish it would simply give up and go ahead and let spring begin.

Again, I hope you are feeling much better and have a better day today. While I still feel pretty crappy, I'm hoping for a better one too. My goal is to get home in time tonight to rest and relax a little before heading to bed . . . should be a great time to "play".

Maybe if you're in another playful mood this evening, I could think of a lot more enjoyable things to do than ask for a "back rub".

Take care. - R

Well I don't know if the waiter had a thing for you or not but I can tell you that no man has ever received free wine from an Olive Garden waiter. Well, no straight man... Now if you'll excuse me I need to go find a very gay waiter with keys to the wine locker.

Migranes are a sign of lack of sex.. I hope you don't have anymore of those! My sis had them..and she went to physical therapy, and that did the trick..but I'm thinking you need some sex..why? Cause I said so..
