Tonight I'm going to go see Aerosmith with my date, plus my cousin, and his wife. She decided last night that since she's on the phone at work all day she had best bring earplugs - that made me laugh.

I guess that I grew up going to concerts ALL THE TIME. Somehow I always landed tickets for free or had the spare cash sitting around(I'm a saver not a spender). I went to see Hank Williams Jr. when I was like 11 or 12 - it was awesome, even though I prefer rock, he's close enough.

So yeah, to me, who used to attend between 4 and 20 shows per year, this girl who has NEVER BEEN TO A NON-CHRISTIAN CONCERT is just foreign to me. I'm hoping she'll have a good time, and if she doesn't, I'll just have to ensure that she does. I can recover from dates gone wrong - it's not too difficult, just pay attention and make her smile.

When my long term ex decided she wanted to get married and left (since I didn't), she told me that one of my most endearing qualities was that I never let something going wrong get in the way of having a good time. I remember when she and I started dating - every one was BAD. We had nothing in common! Everything went wrong at every turn, but we laughed our way through it anyways.

In other news, incredible sex last night, including hearing her grunt the phrase "No, no, stick your finger UP my asshole! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" in mid fuck. Needless to say, we both overslept from passing out after an hour of playing like crazy. Here's to hoping tonight is as much fun!
