Life, or something like it

So I get down to class which starts at 10 am, and I find out that it has been canceled due to my professor being sick. No biggie I guess. That just means that I can actually do the homework and start on the 3 papers that I haven't even begun. Greeeeeeat. How excited am I.... not at all.

Actually the class is really interesting. It's all about morals and values coming into play with medical decisions. There can potentially be some really heated discussions that go on, but most of the time, it's just discussion with heated undertones. It could develop into arguements, but I think A. No one wants to start an arguement and B. We are all adult enough that we realize that we shouldn't fight over that kind of stuff, not yet anyway.

There is one girl in my class that I occasionally want to smack. This chick has an opinion on everything! She has worked in the healthcare industry and has done nursing clinicals, she's a Mom, etc. so she feels entitled to say something every other breath that comes out of our professors mouth. Good grief!

The guy that I am dating is fine. He is studying for the Bar Exam down at the CSU Law Library, so I went and surprised him last night about 10 when I knew the library would be closing. The poor guy is up to his eyeballs in work and has no end in sight until he takes the exam at the end of July. He's so stressed out it's unreal. You know how you look when you've been getting little to no sleep for several days running and you are wicked stressed? That's how he's looked for the past 3 weeks.

I missed being around and reading blogs and chatting with everyone. I am glad that AdultFriendFinder no longer has me locked out. It dunno what happened, randomness.

So I got this e-mail last week and the guy who shall remain nameless for embarassment purposes, wrote me a pretty harsh letter. He wanted to know why I hadn't or wouldn't respond to him. Firstly, I did respond to him. He just didn't like the response. Secondly, I finally put my fuckin' foot down and told him to blow it out his ass, I wasn't interested. Let's see how that one goes over! Hahaha...

Most have ethics classes ever since Watergate for lawyers and similar problems for MD's. the lawyer professional responsibility test in Cal. is one of the harder parts of the Bar Exam to pass! Tell your bf to relax, most who are good students from good law schools pass the first time, and if not the second time.

I learned all my ethics from my days spent at the Starfleet Academy.
