How rude!

So I went out to dinner with my Mom last night. I was driving us home in the pouring rain and some dude in a Ford Windstar had his flashers on. I was preparing to make a left-hand turn. This guy is creeping down the street, I mean it was as if he took his foot off the brake and was cruising at 2 mph. So I was sitting in the middle of the intersection, waiting for the road to clear so I could turn left and the light goes from green to yellow to red. So now I have to turn, otherwise I am blocking traffic. This DUMBASS still keeps going! He had plenty of opportunity to stop and yet he kept rolling thru the intersection as if the emergency lights somehow gave him the ok to no longer follow traffic laws! For the first time in prolly 3 years, I laid on the horn, and would've said some not nice stuff with my window rolled up if my Mom wasn't sitting right there. That was one of the rudest traffic violations I have seen in awhile!

Ok scratch that, I saw some dude weaving in and out of heavy downtown traffic without using his turn signal. He almost hit 2 cars and had the nerve to flick someone off when they honked at him (in my opinion rightly so). That's my biggest pet peeve on the road, those who choose not to use their turn signals. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! But my worst traffic habit is passing on the right on the freeway.

What is your biggest traffic pet peeve? What is your worst traffic habit?

P.S. Thank you to all those who sent me well wishes, Wonder Woman is back in action y'all!

Biggest driving pet peeve... two actually... When people don't pay attention as they drive, whether it be cellphone or some other distraction... and/or stay in the left lane of the freeway when there isn't much traffic and it forces the good people of the world to pass on the right. Those bring out the anger...

Biggest traffic pet peeve, PASSING LANE DRIVERS! The ones who sit in the high speed lane while everyone has to pass them on the right. Ugh!!!! Usually on a two lane highway!

I swear that they have taken out half of the 'rules to the road' in the latest printing of the drivers handbook!

Just the other day I was at a red light, center lane of 3 - first car. One car to my left. No car to my right. The light went green. The car to my left started out, I started out into the intersection. I still don't know why, but all of a sudden I felt I needed to stop. FAST! As a big blue and white pickup truck comes from the left flying thru the intersection - not stopping for the red. It was so close to the front of my car that I could not see his wheel wells. I was a wreck for a while. It would have been one of those accidents you don't walk away from. I came home and called my parents and gave them all my current emergency info, in case I didn't call for a few days.

My worst traffic habit? Hummm. I tend to drive too fast. I like to take my 8-10 over the speed limit. Usually only on the open highway, but still.

Any driving that can be characterized as being dangerous, stupid, or both is annoying. Being cut off, tailgaters, people who don't comprehend yield signs, speeders in residential areas, people on a cell phone, people driving the wrong way down a one-way street...and my personal favorite, the people who look at the person in the passenger seat while talking to them instead of watching the road.
When I was a kid, my sisters and I carpooled with another girl and her mom to go to camp in the summer. The mom would talk to her daughter pretty much nonstop the whole way there, and she would be looking at her daughter half the time, and my sisters and I were scared witless each time we got in the car. One day,we got into an accident that we knew was coming. None of us got hurt but I'll never forget that.
AND I really hate it when Wonder Woman tries to lasso my car when I'm driving.

It really gets my goat when people leave their indicators on after they've made a manoeuvre, the other thing is taligaters.

Worst habbit, from time to time I have a fast driving day, I dunno why but I just get in the car and feel the need for speed!

Glad you're feeling better btw
