Another Day...Another Day

I'm feeling a little stuck in a rut these days. When it comes to my work outs, I can vary those, push myself, go a longer time or distance, and that REALLY helps me deal with stress. Yesterday someone complimented me on my dedication and endurance, and I don't think he understood how much better I feel about myself and life in general when my brain is swimming in a little ocean of endorphins. I go nuts if I go several days in a row without exercise.

I'm also a little overdue for the lovin'. Even starting an e-mail relationship with someone would take some of the burden off my wife, who loves me and thinks I have a great bod - better than when we got together 11 years ago - but who's not in the same shape I'm in and doesn't have as strong a sex drive. Really, it's an act of charity for her, not for me.

Okay, okay, enough with the begging. I'm curious for success stories. If you found a relationship with someone through this site, did you initiate it or did they? If you initiated it, how did you find that person? Through a blog, a magazine article, or a member search? What was your approach to them? Polite and reserved or balls-out sexual? I'm not looking for "I never thought it would happen to me," but I am curious.

There are success stories out there, at least for me. I'm not real comfortable with the whole kiss and tell thing in a public forum, for some obvious reasons (some people that have done that in their blogs have had it come back and bite them in the ass when someone found out that shouldn't have.)

In my case, the results were from other people contacting me initially.

Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

Good point, Daphne. I'm absolutely not looking for that kind of detail. Just the general sorts of "I've made X number of friends here, I've met Y of them in person; I started the relationship Z times {A times because of a blog, B times becomes of a search, C times because of an article) and someone else started it Q times; mostly my approach is...; the times someone contacted me first and I eventually got together with them, the approach was usually..."

I'm not trying to create a form for people to fill out or to do a survey. Your answer, Daphne, is enough, and thanks.
