Finger games

I attend Church every Sunday. Call it a flaw in my character, but that's just me. I've never met God, and the only evidence I have of his existence is that when I do what I'm asked of (obey those ten simple commandments) my life goes better; When I don't, things don't work out so well. That may not be enough to convince anyone of the existence of a God, but it is just hard for me to argue with.
I'd like a more substantial assurance, but apparently that isn't my calling in life.
The result is that I go to Church, but I don't always listen to the speakers.
A little girl sat in front of me today. Her name is Virginia, and she's probably five years old.
She was turned around, and staring at me, with a frown on her face.
I got a sudden urge to play finger games with her. I have a repertoire of little games to entertain kids with, so I went to the old standby where I poke my cheek on one side of my face, and poke my tongue into my cheek on the other side. This makes it look like you are poking clear through your mouth.
I know it is silly, but little kids laugh at stuff like that. She did.
Is started through the rest of the tricks--disapearing finger; thumb pulled apart; and moving a finger from my right hand to my left.
Before long, about five kids (including two of her brothers) were laughing out loud, and causing now small stir of disruption to the meeting.
I just acted innocent and kept staring at the speaker.
(I think some of the parents thought my actions were somewhat irreverant, but, I had fun and the kids had fun.)
I went through all my finger games though, and I wonder what I'll have to do next week.
Anyone want to teach me how to play special games with their fingers? I could use some lessons, a little practice, and then maybe I'll put on a better show next week.

Digital manipulation--magic--and fingers are all useful tools to keep the mystery, and the attention of others.

I like playing games.

Now, perhaps you can. Here's my logic: Isn't that the perfect place to repent? Now, if someone says, "Gosh, you can't sin in church?" the obvious response is, "of course you can!" You are that much closer to getting rid of the sin. Churches aren't built for the righteous, they are built for the sinners. Which means, only sinners should be going to Church. Now, if I sinned at home, or at work, or at the store, wouldn't it be hypocritical not to sin IN CHURCH!
I say my argument has merit. Do you agree?

That one, and "pull my finger" weren't attempted. I'll get their nose next week. I think I'll avoid "pull my finger" just because it seems so . . . crude.
