An award

Last night I received an award and received recgnition for the 20 plus years I have been on the board of a local non profit organization. This organization is one that focuses on kids, especially inner city kids.
The wife was not impressed and was upset that I was late for dinner. I think she was jealous.
The award was a total surprise for me.

Congratulations...and well done !!!
That's a great achievement.
You can have dinner every day....but you sure DON'T get an award every day !!

You are correct, that is exactly how I felt about the evening. Her reaction destroyed my excitment and made feel sad.
It seems that you and others on AdultFriendFinder have better attitudes. Thanks.

Congratulations!! My hat's off to those who reach out to the children of our country .... too many these days are simply taking advantage of them as well.

Well done.

Now perhaps it is time to focus on the relationship you have with your spouse.

As a mature individual I have worked very dilligently to satisfy my wife, both physically and mentally. I have dropped many of my other activities since we have been married.
The problem with her is that she has been seriously hurt by prior relationships and is very guarded with our time together. I am very aware of her past, and very concerned about it. But I don't need to pay for the sins of prior spouses/significant others.
