Ever feel like your Dr Phil?

I kinda pride myself on being a good guy to come to with your problems. For my friends I always have an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry. and honestly I like doing it. I like knowing that in some little way i have helped them either leave with a little more understanding of what they are going thru or how they can resolve the situation.

but sometimes. i get all of then coming at once and it just gets a little overwhelming. especialy when you get 2 or 3 people with genuinly complicated problems. like "Do I ask my best friend to be my boyfriend" and "I need to leave my boyfriend but i don't want to hurt him.

Now for those of you who are my friends. don't take this as me saying "sort out your own problems" because that isn't the case.. I suppose i just needed to vent a little myself

Even Dr. Phil has a psychiatrist. Maybe you just need a break from their lives for a while, just to focus on your own for a bit. Take a vacation and don't invite those friends with all the problems.

I have had a friend try to Dr. Phil me before, turned out he was the one with the problem, and was just using me as a sounding board for his own problems...
