Shaken not Stirred....

Song of the day: Nobody Does it Better ‒ Carley Simon

New James Bond?

A guy named Daniel Craig?

I read that they were going to replace Pierce Brosan because they wanted a younger bond. Yes Brosan is 52, but I want to look half that good at 52!! Brosan is my second favorite Bond, of course Sean Connery is Bond, James Bond.

Back in the late 80’s when Roger Moore retired, everyone was hoping for Brosan. Coming off a series as Remington Steele he showed he had suaveness and humor balanced perfectly to play Bond.

But NOOOO! They cast Timothy Dalton, he was “ok” as Bond, but many of us were pissed it was this guy not Brosan. I was very happy when he stepped down and Brosan finally got the role. I have enjoyed all of the Bond movies with Brosan.

Now they replace him, sigh. Daniel Craig looks British, but does not have the commanding presence Bond needs. Saw him on a few interview shows, and I can’t picture him saying “shaken, not stirred.” Nor can I picture him with a rocket backpack, or in a speedboat. Looks like the kid you beat up and took his lunch money back in 6th grade.

He was Alex West in Laura Croft Tomb Raider, his other roles are unknown to me.

I know I should give this guy a chance, but the outlook is not good.

“Die another day” must have been a hidden message, a hint of things to come, and this might be that day.

Casino Royale out next year!

Breaking out party hat and snake tongue horn..toot! (sarcasm)

Your bit of useless knowledge for the day:

A martini is slightly higher in antioxidants if it's shaken. Seems the shaking breaks up the molecules better to release the antioxidants, such as they are in a martini.

So, to elaborate on the "useless knowledge for the day", you could say that a shaken martini[/green] could possibly be an excellent choice for antioxidants.

I'm with ya 100% on this one. I remember when I first heard about Brosnan it was an instant, "YES! Only he can do it." Perfect. Same reaction to Dalton, and that George guy in Her Majesty's SS. Same reaction to this new clown, too. I think it would be great to watch Brosnan play it in his 50's (plus he is so incredibly sexy). Sort of EXTREMELY wily and clever, gotten from experience. Oh well. I'm rambling because I agree...(just imagine if I didn't - yikes)

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

P&S- Personally, I nominate YOU for the next James Bond! (I'm trying to score brownie points!)

And, btw, it's Pierce Brosnan. You forgot the "N". LMAO!! (See, that's why I started this off with a compliment!)

(I know, I know... I can take that last remark & stick it with the "leeches", right?? LMA

Hi thanks for dropping by my humble blog. No I have never seen LayCake, I will chck it out. I agree will wait and see how the new Bond does.

Hello Frisky!
Gee, I am not even married to you, and you can spot every fault from a mile away and point them out for public review. Shall I show up at your house and build shelves, clean the garage, and do the "honey do's" and pretend to be married? We do not have to have sex, then it would be exactly like marriage! Are you a Grade school teacher by day? I rememebr my third grade teacher MRS. O' Connel, she seemed to enjoy pointing out all my fault for public inspection. I crossed my T's too low and Cat looked like Cal, and I got marked down. The years of therapy have allowed me to walk in public with out curling up into a little ball and crying. I even can go to the store all by myself after 20 years. Actually I think I should just get even with you Could ask your Husband when you Birthday is, and see to it that you are SPANKED like the bad girl you are, and SPANKED like you deserve. pppttthhhh <- tongue sticking out sound! Meet the board of education

Hello Sam
I wished I looked as good as BrosNan at any time. Actually I wished I looked as good as BrosNan in a previous life. Did you Watch BrosNan when he was Remington Steele? BrosNan is a pretty good actor, and a good James Bond. We wish our best to BrosNan
