RIP Steve Urwin

The 'Crocodile Hunter' died earlier today after being struck by the barb of a stingray. I was just watching his show yesterday, hard to believe he died like that after working with wild animals for so long. Feel so sorry for his poor little kids and wife! I remember seeing on one of the programmes the little girl playing with snakes and spiders. Poor wee things.

I have just read about this.

I thought he was an amazing man, a little crazy perhaps but amazing none the less.

My heart goes out to his family.

There was always a good chance that he'd die doing what he loved. Can any of us ask for better?

I agree with "slightly geeky". I think "Stevo" pushed the limits of sanity at times, but thats because he was so passionate about what he was doing. Much better to go that way, than of a prolonged illness, car crash, slip in the shower etc. If its your time to go, hopefully its while doing something that you love to do. So, I guess things could have been worse. Torn to shreds by a Croc, could have been a lot worse.
