One thing I am really indecisive about is choosing which movies to get out at the video store. Especially when they have those deals to get like 8 for $11 or whatever it is these days. I could spend hours in there trying to pick them.

But of course when I'm not at the video store I have a list of movies in my head that I want to watch. As soon as I walk into the store they disappear and I can't remember any of them.

My friend was even worse than me, saying "I don't mind" to EVERYTHING (not just movies) so I would always have to make the final decision.

Then she would blame me if the movies were bad lol.

Anyway, the point of this post is for everyone to leave a comment with a few movie titles you think I should watch. Since its the holidays and winter, I want to lie tucked up in bed and watch a few good movies.

Oh, gosh .. where to start? Especially not knowing what sort of movies you like.

Breakfast Club
Heavenly Creatures
Princess Bride
Thomas Crown Affair

Ok, that's a pretty random brain dump of a fraction of the DVDs I have here. The ones I've watched again and again becuase they're Just That Good.

I'd say Amelie,

It's a classic and one you can watch over and over.

Turk 182
Children of a Lesser God
Das Boot
Dr. Strange Love
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2
Reservoir Dogs
Great Escape

I have so many to pick from. You know whats funny is, whether is a movie store or food store. I have this list in my head and the minute I go thru the door, I go blank.
Anyway, good luck!

Layer Cake - an excellent British film... from the director of 'lock stock and two smoking barrells' and it stars the new James Bond!!!

Good Bye Pork Pie - just bought it myself a Kiwi classic

If you like cartoon releif
Shrek and Shrek 2, Monsters Inc, and Sharks Tale are all good for a laugh

Beats endless 'High 5' videos when entertaining the little ones!

Let me be the first, of many (no doubt), to offer to join you in bed. I love being predictable!

Like you in the store, I'm pretty much drawing a blank. American Psycho is always good for a laugh though.

I havent seen them but I was in Canada recently and apparently Old School and Strange Brew are must see movies. I like comedies so Happy Gilmore is my favourite, that gives you an idea where I am coming from. The Office (TV series) is hilarious (once you get over the cringing). On a more serious note The Shawshank Redemption makes my top 5, City of God (subtitles) was good. There are of course the classics Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs (maybe more of a boys movie). Anything with Robert DeNiro is usually pretty good including the Meet the Parents duo. Something to start with!!

Why not browse movies on demand. Most cable companies offer that and many are even free! Why bother going to the story when so much is available by remote?
