Do I - or - Don't I ......

I've met a nice lady who lives down the street...

Not sure of her age but she is probably 5-8 years older than me (I haven't been forward enough to ask outright, but she has commented about how she remembers being my age). She has an awesome figure, red hair that is greying somewhat (but hey thats kind of normal), a beautiful smile and an awesome personality.

We have had some great chats, swapped some deep stories and I've even mowed her lawns for her (twice).

She has a nine year old daughter who is a pretty cool kid too, seems to let her mum have some space for friends.

We seem catch up for a chat 3-4 times a week, but haven't gone much past giving her a ride to functions we just both happened to be going to and the like. This has all been going on for about a month.

So at what point do I pluck up the courage to ask her out?
Have I missed my chance?
Is she interested in me that way?
Does she live too close to home?
How do I know she isn't just happy with being friends and might be put off a neat friendship if I ask which would make it really awkward?...

Ladies - help please! I make friends easily but starting a relationship is the one thing in life I seem to lack confidence in!

As sequel comment

We met for lunch today .... More chat and sharing stories
Definately some chemistry there but nothing to report in the "love department" as yet. We are both away in different places for the weekend so will be Monday before we catch up.

We are planning a trip to Wellington in April, but its more of sharing a ride, she is staying with her friend while I have a yachting contest on.

Who knows with all that time in the car something might click?

But guys am I onto a relationship of just friendship?

Try kissing her say goodbye..the palm..not the back of the hand. It's romantic..very erotic and can arouse..without being too forward. (It used to make me melt every time my lover did that.)

Then the next time you're together..tell her you like her..are interested. She'll most likely respond with how she feels. Not being forward..just being honest. Try it. Let us know how it works for you.
