This sort of goes out to my Network Friends but anyone can respond...

"Does it matter to you whether or not you're listed and visible as a Network Friend on someone's profile within your Network???"

I've often wondered this because I've noticed that my own profile is often visible on the profiles of other within my own Network and I have no problem with it.

Today I made my Network of Friends visible...Why??? It was something I simply felt compelled to do. I'm not selfish or momma taught me how to "share"...LOL Though, my network of friends is still restricted to those outside of my Network. Only those that I've accepted as "friends" can see who I've in turn become "friends" with.

So...I'd like to know if the majority of people are ok with this...Speak Up and Speak Out!!!

Kisses XOXO

I think it's a good idea to let people in your network see who else is there just to make sure they don't "own" you. If they don't want others to know they are in your network, they can change their own settings.

I think it is fine to have all your network friends visible for others in the network to see. The whole concept of network is defeated if the network is secret.
That said, I have a question of my own. I am not sure I see the value of the networks here. A while back I was asked into someone's network. I was very excited to be asked and I jumped right in. Interestingly they never contacted me again. I felt a little like I had become some sort of token they could wear on thier site. What is the value of networks here? What do they facilitate? I would like to hear how people have used the network?

I agree with leyndokona2, I think it's a good idea to "share with your friends". If someone has a problem with someone "seeing" them, then perhaps they are on the wrong site. If you want to have fun then you might want to check, at least some, of your inhibitions "at the door.

Some folks have a problem with it, but I see it as another way to meet people. I have met a lot of ladies through my other friends.

Being seen as a friend or in someones network is not a problem for us.

There are a number of ways that this can be taken....if you are from a small town(those of you who come from this or know about this will appreciate) don't want everyone to know thier business...and then there are those who are more comfortable being invisible in "crowds" on one is more comfortable to them. at the same time you get the proud peacocks who are proud to show to everyone thier "assets"and yet others are concerned about computer piracy .... irrational as that sounds on this site but it is a safe haven for some to be freaks and not let the rest of the world know......for me...i dont care one way or another because i am secure in me but in the network there is more than me to consider so it really is up to the person who has the network
