Birthdays past....

Hello all

I ask you today, to go back in time.

Remember when you were young, and your Birthday was the coolest thing ever?

When your really young, it seemed to take MORE then a year...for one year to pass. It seemed like an eternity from birthday to birthday.

As we grow older, those gaps narrow, and the years seem to go by quicker.

I look at it like this...Picture your life as a whole pie.
When you were 3 yrs old, your pie would be split in 3 equal pieces, one for each year.
Now picture yourself 75 yrs old, if you split the pie in 75 pieces, one for each year...the pieces are much smaller then when you were three.

Can you imagine how fast the years go by when your 75? Its scarry to think about. Birthdays must seem to come every other week.

I dont know about you? But not only do my birthdays seem to come faster and faster every year, they also mean less to me every year too. There have actually been a few birthdays in the last couple of years...I didnt do ANYTHING for my birthday at all.

Why is that? It seems to me, that as we got older...birthdays should mean MORE, not less.

I ask you my reader...

Do your birthdays seem to come faster and faster each year?

Do your birthdays lose their luster, as the years go by?

All comments and remarks are welcome.

Bye for now

Your are a lucky women indeed. There is nothing better then loved ones making a big deal out of our B-Days, it sure does feel good when that happens, doesnt it?
You mentioned "kids", like in plural...?
Does Mzhunyhole have a whole possy of young ones running around, or just a few? I have one boy off to college, and he was alot of work when he was little. Its hard to imagine more then one. My son's mother was one of 12 brothers and sisters...yikes!
Have a good day

Little girl Kink
Unfortunetly they have. Take yesterday for example, it was just your average busy work day for me. I did nothing special at all. I didnt even go out for a birthday dinner or anything.
My son did call me and ask if I wanted to go out to dinner, but he was busy at school, and I with work, so it never happened.
A couple of people did call, which was nice. But the excitement just wasnt there like years past.
When I date someone...I always make a big deal of their B-Day. But I dont do the same for myself.
It was nice hearing from you on my B-Day...
Bye for now little girl Kink
ps- would you ever wear your hair in pony tails for me?
