Did you know...???

Did you know that my first language is french?

Some of you do.. I know.. and being here has helped me improved on my english writing. I was born in Ontario and lived there until I was 12 so I got a good base in english as they have us start the english classes at an early age which is not really the case in Quebec which sucks really since it helps enormously to know english to get a job and around the world!!

Coming to Quebec at the age of 12 to a province that does not encourage the english learning as much, my skills did not improve much from then on. School was boring (english class I mean) as it was so easy for me. I started to really be at my level in Secondary 4 (grade 10 I think).

Of course, being bilingual as always helped me to get a job and all but from time to time, I tend to have "moments" where what I call my "translator" is off. I'll have a total block on a word in english!! It will usually come back to me almost immediately but damn it's frustrating sometimes especially when I'm on the phone with a client!!! That will happen a lot on Friday's afternoon!!!!

I know it doesn't show as much on here as it does when I speak but I do have difficulty sometimes to get an idea out.. a phrase.. I will often change a whole phrase just because I can't find the right "translation" for what I really want to say or can't find the words. Now, I got that english/french dictionary site opened up all ready to go so I can get instant translation when in a jam!!!

Oh and I have that cute little french accent

I'm quite mutli-lingual myself!..I can speak English,Spanish,(although not fluently),body languge,& of course,my favorite..cunnilingus!!..lol....(sorry i could'nt resist that!)

I'm glad that your English is improving,it wil come in handy for all those emails & comments your going to receive in the future.

I'll see about that voice thing.. not sure I'm into it for now lol

I also speak a bit of Spanish. My son's father is from Chili and I got to take a course long ago. Haven't practice much in the past few years though but just now using it in chat rooms from time to time.
Can't hold a conversation for very very long though. lol

I've always found the French accent to be so sexy, either a man or woman's voice. I need ya to teach me some dirty words in French, Marcy...lol

MarcySullivan replies on 7/27/2006 2:56 pm:
Actually.. this might sound weird.. but all sex words in French are a big turn down for me.. they just sound sooo fake to me.. I much prefer them in English and it is one of the reasons I do prefer to chat in English!!!

Hi Love,,, well let me second you on «Sex Words in French». They really sound awful, bogus... lolllll

Je parle français mais je ne me vois pas dire «J'va te fourrer la face» I much prefer «I'll fuck your face». Doesn't it sound better

Oh! sorry for being so RAW,,, just trying to make a point

Take care. Salut fille. x

I am like you (a cunning linguist). Being bi-lingual has gotten me a job and all from time to time too.

LOL My ex taught me two phrases in Arabic and I thought they were SO hot. Maybe because the language is so gutteral. OK, so i guess I'll just need to find me a Frenchman to whisper sweet nothings in my ear instead of dirty talk.

Being Canadian, I've studied French in school since grade 4. I have a very rudimentary knowledge, and always wished I'd gotten fluent. It's soooo helpful, especially here in Canada. Having been out in the big old world, knowing only one language is soooo constricting.

I have great admiration for you. Very interesting to learn this aspect.

I love French accents. French speaking women are among the sexiest on the Earth and can make me cum just by talking to me if I do not resist!

Hi Marcy,

I'm new to Montreal and use my Spanish (2nd language, lived in Peru for a bit) to help me here. The two cultures here are interesting, and the frnch accent reminds me of that.

Speaking of interesting phrases, I find French and Spanish the best for "I love you" - but the sound of that phrase wasn't so musical when I dated someone who spoke German ("Ich Liebe dich" - not sure on the spelling) - I should have had her talk dirty, that guteral comment made earlier would have helped in German...

And, yah, sometimes the quebecios accent can be cool, not as soft as from France, though.

Sullivan, don't you speak Galic? lol... Gary

First, welcome to Montreal!!! Hope you enjoy

I agree with you with the french "je t'aime" sound and the spanish one!!! I find that anything said in spanish can sound so sexy!! You can send someone to hell and it still sounds nice!!! LOL

Sullivan is not my real name nor is Marcy!! lol
Thanks for you visit

Some people don't even get a little grasp on one language, let alone understanding 2 well. Does being bi-lingual mean you like the ladies too?

Guten Tag Meine Fraulein!

Damn, spell check crashed my computer!!!!!!

I can do anything, but the impossible takes a little longer!

MarcySullivan replies on 1/2/2007 10:50 am:
Actually, I am almost tri-lingual Learned a bit of spanish way back when.....

I wouldn't say I like the ladies exactly. I don't really consider myself bi-sexual.. maybe still a bit bi-curious. I would mostly define myself as "sometimes bi-tempted" if the occasion came up
