How far to go.............

I have been getting more comments from people further away from me lately and it brought some questions to mind.

How far would you travel to meet someone from online?

What would make you travel to them? Looks? Fun? Desperation????

What would you expect when you traveled a ways to meet them? Just a meet? Lunch? Sex?

I mean its different if you travel for business and arrange to meet someone while in a different city. But there are people that will travel just to meet someone, even if they are married.( not me of course, I wouldnt)

Just curious.............

Hmmmm...at this stage in my life I think I'd travel as far as an hour and not have any expectations of what happens when we finally met. I just like meeting new people and some time on the road clears my head. As busy as I am, though, knowing nookie is at the other end of the trip helps to motivate me . I guess the irony of AdultFriendFinder is that, once you meet like-minded people in cyber space, it's almost impossible to meet them in real life (by my experience at least). -Bri

I've gone nearly 200 miles out,and it was a meet for dinner, nothing else expected! However I won't go that far un less I am absolutly, possitively certain that I'm not gonna get stood up!

It depends... if I'm planning a trip in the general vicinity anyway, it wouldn't be any trouble to take a detour. If I'm really interested in meeting someone, and traveling to meet that person is the sole motive, well... I generally follow my "two tank" rule... if I can get there and back on two tanks of gas (and I get about 500 miles per tank), then yes, I'd travel. As far as what I'd expect when I got there... just to meet; drink, lunch, dinner... any "dessert" would be one of those unexpected things that are delightful rather than an unfulfilled expectation that is disappointing.

Daniel: Thanks for the response

Bri: It is tough to get schedules in sync to meet

Here: Hmmm as long as you are sure you wont get stood up but things happen sometimes

CanCum: Sounds like a good rule The unexpected things are the best!

It was horrible. But your post prompted me to write about it. I hope you'll read it in my blog sometime. I posted it today with tears in my eyes.
