Decisions, decisions

I went back to the ortho on Monday as my ankle is still really bothering me.

He pretty much gave me 2 choices....

1. Find a job where I am not on my feet all day long as that is just aggravating the problem.

2. Have another surgery on my ankle to stabilize my ankle. Which means another 3 months out of work!

So I have another decision to make. I plan on talking to my employer to see if they have another job for me where I am not on my feet all day. Also to see if I can get short term disability again.

I am heading towards the surgery as I don't want to re-injure my ankle again with it being so unstable. I am still young and want to be able to enjoy life not be worried all the time about my damn ankle.

Biggest issue is that my hubby is having surgery on his ankle in July. We cant both be on crutches at the same time LOL Besides if we are home together all day I will kill him!

Decisions, decisions!

Simple solution,

Find a submissive boy or girl...(or both) and have them wait on you and your husband hand and foot...no pun intended...

Just a suggestion....

Oh man! I think you are right about you and hubby being laid up together....pun intended. It is a hard decision. I'll be thinking about you today as you talk to your employers!

Ankles are such difficult things to get to fully heal... they get so much stress in our everyday lives never mind being on your feet all day at work!

Hoping your employer can help you out.... even if you can get a temporary assignment until your husbands healed and then your turn! LOL

Sending you healing thoughts and prayers

Thanks hun! Thinking that if I have the surgery soon, I will be out of the cast by the time hubby has his. But will still be out of work!

I'm looking for a "Love Slave". If at any point during the day you're on your feet then you aren't doing your job right.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT have surgery the same time as your husband, YOU WILL KILL HIM if you are home together!!!!

Take it from me, I have lived thru this, you don't want to do it!!!

9 out of 10 doctors agree that prior to surgery, you should have sex with me. It may not help, but it sure can't hurt!!!

You and hubby home together with weapons (crutches) I'm thinking - bad idea!

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...

What do they say? For better or worse but not for lunch! Good luck with the surgery.

those are difficult choices to choose from. Hoping you either find a better job or that surgery heals you completely this time around. Hugs to you!

Opted for the surgery after consulting some other people familiar with this. I ma too young to have to wear an ankle brace all the time. Thanks! Although I may need transportation on the 28th of June!
