Is it just ME?

OK I have been on this site for a while now and after looking at a couple thousand profiles I have begun to wonder..........what is wrong with these people??

My observation isn't a mind numbing change the world one but it is one that strikes me as just a tad bit ...odd.

There are settings for desired profile content on some profiles and more often than not I have noticed that the people with these settings are requiring standards of the contact people that they themselves do not meet.

For example, the most common one I have seen is people that require a a photo on the profile but don't have one up. Personally I don't see how you can demand that everyone else have a photo up....when you don't. But that's just me I suppose.

Another one I find hilarious is the one where someone will require the profiles to be completely filled out, but every one of their answers is " prefer not to say" am I the only person that stops and says hmmmmmm when they see that?

It is just my opinion but I think that if you require a photo of everyone that contacts you then you should have a picture posted, if you for some reason cannot post one then you can't rightfully demand one , but that is just the part of me that believes in treating people the same way I want to be treated I guess.

I know that my opinion on how people should treat each other is a bit utopian but once again it is just my opinion and we are all entitled to have one.

Your responses would be appreciated because I'm just a little curious about other peoples opinions on this rather trivial but odd matter. It is just for my own social education.

[colr purple]YOU SAID IT, BROTHER! My wife and I have OFTEN said EXACTLY the same thing. How 'bout this one, it clearly says in our profile that if all you did was look at the pic and not read, in bold & color, then don't bother. Had a kid 24ys today write "Hot pics, wanna..."; told him we want some one older(this is the male half of the couple)(yes, I'm bi). He writes back, "but I want experience". What the hell would I, a 38y man have in common with a 24 year old, besides the whole "Y" chromasome thing.

Sometimes my sarchasm gets me in trouble but PLEEEEEAAAAAZE people - truth in advertizing, no doulbe standards and at least TRY to be intelligent.
