Hives - Sexy or Not?

As some of you know, I have had a lot of stress lately. The result of this is that I now have hives. They are just on my lower legs at this point, but I know if I can't get the stress under control they will spread. So I am staying in air conditioning, applying soothing lotions, talking to no one, and doing nothing.

No, hives are not contagious. But still, not sexy.

I looked for a mood indicator of "itchy" but the closest I could get was "irritated."

The art is Pierre Bonnard's The Bath.

I see you are reliving your 30s again.

I wish I can be 30 again.

It is good to see you back.

If more thought had been put into the design of people then stress would result in...say...your penis getting bigger or your brests getting larger. That way it would tend to reduce your stress level instaed of increasing it. Then again the way it would probably work is men's brests enlarging and women growing penises.....oh well.

Sorry to hear you are under so much stress. I have to admit the past week has sent me into quite a state of duress myself. Hives can be sexy I mean think about it gives a reason for a man to rub some lotion on your legs.

if you have a lot of tattoos they can tend to blend in and not seem as unattractive............just kidding......

I usually jump on the treadmill and turn my MP3 on drowned out all noise..........

Most recently did it last night at 2 AM.........
slept like a baby after that..........

Stress and emotion are a part of us all.........embrace it......or let it defeat you...........

I get that, too! A patch of them on the fronts of my upper thighs! Goes away in less than a week, usually.
Don't sweat the small stuff, stay cool, and have fun!

Stress is an emotion, Lots of people get it in different manners.
I have found that people who truly care about what is going on around them seem to stress out more.
Although im sure everyone gets stressed in one form or another..
the main thing is to realize that it is an emotion that shouldnt last... If you beleive in that, you should over come it... just takes time...
wish you the best

Hi Love Spell, Having owned my own business for many years, I too have suffered from stress time and again! My cure is to identify the cause of the stress, and then deal with it the best I can! While this is going on, I try to give something back to myself which will help make me feel better....exercise, being with friends I like to be around, reading....just treating myself extra special! If your stress comes from your marriage, you'll have to deal with it straight forwardly, or it will eat you up! An unhappy marriage can be the most difficult of all! I'd be happy to chat more if you'd like!! Best wishes and be good to yourself! Chris

I feel for you dear, but you are so dang far away, I cant reach that far. So I'm sending a personal perscription of lots and lots of tender kisses all over you dear. It is refillable too. But can become habit forming if not taken care of properly. For that you will need to see ole Doc Feelgooder N. Feelgooder for a complete physical exam. Should I make an appt or do you just want to pop in sometime.

The hives may not be completely caused by your stress although I am aware of what has transpired as of late. Have you eaten or changed any foods or drink lately?
It may be as simple as a chemical being chnaged in a food preservative that set this off. The Benadryl should help.
You might want to see an allergist.
The stress you have to learn to control how it effects you. I found meditation worked for me.
Find a nice quiet spot, darkened is best...lite a sigle candle, get yourself as comfortable as possible and concentrate on the flame only. Think of nothing else but that flame, watch how it flickers and moves. As time passes you will begin to realize that everything else is gone. As this place gets easier to find, you may eliminate the candle as you mind will just take over.
If that doesn't work, just get hammered like the rest of us.
