An anniversary (of sorts)

Started packing up my stuff with a view to moving out of my flat. I've actually got a month left before I move out properly but my folks are coming to pick up the bulk of my stuff next week and I'm at T in the park at the weekend and the following weekend Kathleen and I are off to the Costa Teguise in Lanzarote for two weeks so I thought I should try and be a bit organised for once.

Anyway, as I was saying, I was having a good old rummage through stuff that I'd never even unpacked when I moved in just over two years ago and I came across one of my old diaries that I used to keep when I was in my teens. Flicking through it brought back some interesting memories but the one that surprised me most (although it shouldn't have really) was the fact that it was exactly 11 years today that I went on a certain school trip to Dublin where I lost my virginity. How uncanny was that? To read that today of all days.

Seems I used to jot down details of quite a lot of my escapades (all in code just in case my mum or my sister, which might actually have been worse, ever found it and read it).

After a while, the entries in my diaries got more and more sporadic until I gave up altogether when I was 18.

Guess it just goes to prove that good girls keep diaries and bad girls just don't have the time.

Sounds like a wonderful vacation. It's fun to look back in old diaries, or old love letters, isn't it.

Well, does this mean we now know you as Bridget Jones? Can imagine the fun you had reading and reliving all your old exploits and adventures, its a wonder you managed to get any packing done!

I think Dublin is part of the reason I fell in love with Ireland, all the fun to be had, not to mention the Guinness (orginally from London - now living on Irelands west coast).
