Great weekend!!

This past weekend the Queen took me to her hometown for Oregon Trail Days. It was a great opportunity for me to meet her folks, and to see where it was that she grew up. Because of the HOT weather(109 and 107), we didn't have much to do with the OT Days......just a lot of driving around in an air conditioned vehicle taking in the sites and relaxing on the patio at her folks place. On a few ocassions, she expressed her concern with me maybe not having a good time. Nothing could be further from the truth!! I had a GREAT time spending it with the one I cherish! She has really nice parents, and the time relaxing was very much needed. The time spent gave me a better understanding of the woman I am with, and I also seemed to have passed the "parent test" LOL ............well.....at least for now I know.........another mushy one! I will try not to let it happen too often, but wanted those that know the Queen and I to know that it was a great time and that she is one awesome lady!

If you can't laugh, what's the fucking point!

It must come with the age Lic. Just kidding. Glad to hear that you both had a great time and were able to relax. We all need that from time to time.

Sammi, I agree with you on the Charlie Brown thing.

The Charlie Brown thing....that is so funny! Yes, this weekend was a little hard on me....I was a little moody and didn't feel like going outside in the hot sun. We did go out Frid. night and Lic met my girlfriends, but there were so many people there, that it was hard to converse. We ended up leaving early and going for some breakfast at "shirley's". The nicest part was sitting on the patio with my family, dirnking coffee, smoking cigerettes and chatting. You know how I like a patio! On Sat. we didn't do much. I drove him out to Lake Minitaire. Then we just chilled in the air conditioning for the rest of the day and night....watched movies and then sat on the patio again and talked until 12:30. No sleeping together at the parent's house...but I did sneak down there on sat. morning and gave him a morning surprise. Lic got to see the other side of me....mimi left the premises for a while and I was more serious. The drive was long, and we ended up in a hotel in York. It's nice to be home.
