That's right, y'all. I'm a winner!
I've been hanging out at Remington Park. I've caught the gambling bug. Not slot machines..hell no. I'm betting on the ponies.

It started on Labor Day. I was bored. I really just thought that Remington Park would be a good place to meet someone from the net for the first time. It turns out it is! It's a great place! It's public. It's free. And...you have something to do if the other person takes forever to get there. That's exactly what happened with my meet and greet. Races started at 2:30 that day. I got there at about 4. Well, my friend called and said he wouldn't be there til 6:30. He didn't show up until 7! I was about to leave too, because all the races were over.
That's ok though, because I was in a great mood from winning $362.20! I bet on a trifecta. I based my bet on the winning percentage of the trainer..and then on how the horse looked. Plus, the trainer was cute.
So anyway...about the meet & greet. He wasn't from this site. He was actually browsing Yahoo member directory and messaged me. He's new in town. Been here maybe 2 weeks, moved from Houston. He's very sweet..but I'm not convinced of his honesty. He just seems to tell some outrageous stories. I've been out with him twice now...no sex. He hasn't even touched me. I think that's a good thing though. The 2nd time we met was at Remington on Friday night. I won $105.00 on another trifecta, by the way. He lost. But while I was waiting for him to show up, my sister-in-law called and invited me to go to Crabtown with them. I passed, because I was meeting him. And I LOVE Crabtown! Well, it turns out that he only eats once a day, so he didn't want dinner. Also, while I was waiting, one of my friends called and invited me to CityWalk. I haven't been there in forever either. So I told her yes. I tried to get him to go with me, but he wasn't dressed for it. So...I went alone. Met my girls there...and they just danced..tried to look cool. But not any guys were hitting on us. Not until I was leaving and 2 Indians and a Paki tried to get me to go home with them!
So..I got in my car..and started drunk dialing. First one answered, but I woke him up (oops). He lives over 50 miles away. And honestly, I didn't want sex anyway...just wanted to talk to someone. We chit chatted for a few and then he let me go. So much for that. I made 2 other calls and left messages. One was my old Aussie friend. Haven't talked to him since April. All this talk about Steve Irwin has me thinking about him. I just wanted to see how he is. But...he hasn't returned my call. My third call was this kid. LOL. He's such a dork. He tried really hard to get in my pants. I almost let him. But then...I don't know. Just not into him. I just called him to see if he had been to CityWalk that night too. But he didn't answer. Called me the next morning, but didn't leave a message.
So that's what I've been up to!

And I'm really wishing my blog was more interactive. If I replied more to your comments, would you comment more?

"If I replied more to your comments, would you comment more?"

I believe that if you want your blog to be interactive, then you have to interact with the people who leave comments. If I leave comments on someone's blog and they don't acknowledge them, I don't go back. It's like being ignored and "talking" to myself. It's also good to visit the people's blogs who leave comments. Just common courtesy.
