I spent most of the night watching Foxnews and CNN coverage of hurricane Katrina. I have to admit I've been worried about all the people in the path of this monster hurricane.

I'm glad I have chosen to live in the Midwest.

Every place has it's own dangers - isn't Kansas prime tornado country?

We have tornadoes but not as many as most people think. Most also hit in open areas. It's unfortunate when one does hit a populated area. The thing about tornadoes is they are short lived. Unlike a hurricane that pounds an area for hours. I'll stick with life in the Midwest.
