Scared of my own Shadow

I don't know what's up with me lately but despite my desire to "blog on", so to speak, I definitely have an inexplicable aversion to making new posts.

So I'll again experiment with something new.

Sort of like force feeding.

Only it'll be force posting.

So whether or not I really feel like it I'm going to now activate my inner drill seargent and will start forcing myself to abnormally post more that my usual amount of material.

And then I'll just see WTF happens.

And somebody please give a swift kick (or a bitch slap) to my inner drill seargent if I don't end up following through with this.

Good luck. I have so much to blog about, but as you can see from my lack of being around, I don't have much time anymore. But it is time well traded to be with the man I love.

Hey Duststorm,

Yes and you couldn't have had this happen with more expert ironic timing either. Just as I'd met someone who had all the bases covered that I felt needed to be prior to meeting them and then top that off with having the sweetest speaking voice I've heard for ages.

But don't get me wrong I'm really happy you finally got what you were really looking for and from what I know of you, you totally earned it!

You done all the work sister and you totally deserve the reward you got.

In that regard we may have been on different playing fields as I almost feel my work of that sort is only now almost just starting.

When I stop and think for a little I realize I'm nearly clueless about what I speak of here but I feel certain that you know what I'm trying to say.

And do your best to not fully go away from this place. Also let us know what's up with that Karaoke competition you're in.

Luv Ya!

It's the springtime...i guess.I'm feeling very lazy myself. My breathing life is very heavy right now.

so close.
I just need to close the deal on this guy...
what do you recommend? How do you get a guy to grab you? kiss you, put his tounge on my neck..

3/6/2006 11:39 pm

Hi Sillouette,

You're welcome to kick, bitchslap or do both in any combination of other similar "wake up and smell the coffee" type tough love style striking maneuvers on me. (or my inner drill seargent)

You or anyone else may not for any reason ever pull a "surprise nosehair yanking" on me. In all cases that move is completely and utterly "verboten".

Surprise nosehair yankings are totally evil.

Hi CockMe,

Did I ever tell you that your presence improves my day? If I haven't yet I should have.

you wrote

Are we talking asthma type broncoconstrictor allergies here or is this a metaphoric statement leading to when you also said...

so close.

Some guys are so clueless to opportunities like these (I should know because I am one) that you just really have to take command and do all that aggressive stuff for them. And you are prone to go for that type of guy as well with your hopes of finding a non competitive guy with a lot of usually feminine traits but who's not a homosexual.

If you can be as mean with a bat on the softball field as I suspect you are then being the aggressor on the playing field of love should also be a cakewalk for you.

I'm not sure if thinking of it kind of like a sport will help you at all with this and since I am not what you'd call a "sports guy" by any measure of the term this suggestion would not be my usual advice for a question like this. But in your case I think it might actually be fitting. And as usual in these cases I definitely will be rootin' for ya! (but not in the Australian sense of that word)

i also sometimes force myself to come up with something -- i beieve, as a writer, it is imperative to write everyday, even if i can't always find anything to say

Hi Freelove,

My favorite art teacher said that artists blocks of any kind were total BS excuses to discontinue working and that if you were serious about a particular discipline that you should always keep your nose to the grindstone no matter what. Even if you believed you were producing crap.

He said that was the only way you could guarantee that if hard-core inspiration really struck you that you'd then have the honsest to goddess technique and stamina necessary to then grab that bull of inspiration by the horns and fully take command of it.

And I think he was right about that.

Looks like I'm not the only one who suffers from writer's block from time to time. When I have times like that...I do still write down my thoughts in one of the several notebooks I have around the apartment. I come back to them later...and develop the thoughts into something for the blog or other articles I do.

Sometimes the inspiration needs to gestate before it's completely ready.

As for physical abuse...never...other than something gentle to stir your libido.

hey a new stopper byer!

Hi SOFT n tempting,

Thanks for takin' a look and I'll be sure to do the same at your own blog-a-thon.

PS. I've been called hard and repulsive before but I've never yet been inspired to use that designation for a handle.

3/8/2006 5:40 am

Hey Michael IG65,

No I'm not a "loves my nuts crushed" masochist. I was once offered an apprenticeship with a great master once but I waited out for an offer for a discipline that better fit my own style.

And seargents all need a good dose of whoop-ass every now and then. it keeps 'em on their toes.

Hi sassybelle21,

I think this is the first visit from a Kuala Lampurian that I've ever had. So glad you made the effort to stop by. But I hope you did not wait at that doorstep too long. I think I conked out almost right after I made my post at your blog and did dream there was someone pounding on the door. If you heard some snoring that was me.

I jokingly asked some Malay A_FF guy yesterday if he knew what the "chicks were like in Krakatoa" and I wondered if the girls there were explosive hot-heads. I'll have to check back and see what he said.

Anyways let me know if you know the scoop on Krakatoan hotties and don't hesitate to drop by again.

3/8/2006 6:01 am

hmmmm.... a gentle stirring of the libido

I've never heard it quite put like that.

conjures up something like..

tranquil arousal

can you also puree it if necessary?

I can't help but now philosophically ponder if "kissing your stuff" would gently stir your libido or if it might have a more drastic or dramatic effect than a mild stir. Most likely depends on the quality of the kissing I would theorize.

Somewhere in a quite special laboratory such similar tests are indeed being conducted. And bold adventurers need to blaze new trails into these fresh frontiers for the greater good of all man.

Hey, I force myself to blog on somedays. I've had terrible writer's block and just can't think of anything original to write....obviously since I copy and paste so much lately .

It's hard when you run out of ideas, lol.

3/10/2006 2:47 pm

Hi unjaded jade,

I always have too many ideas but I don't always find myself enthusiastic about all of them. Also I can't stand when I think I might be repeating myself so if I think a new idea is too similar to something else I've posted I'll reject it.

It's weird though concerning blog response. It seems very similar to weather. And I still don't have much of a clue about what really brings on the "deluge" or what causes a dry spell. I actually would not want an insane number of responses for every post I left. But sometimes when there is close to none it somehow seems less fun.

can I cum force you to post... maybe then, you can force me to comment?

sometimes force is just what the doctor odored. But I know I'm preaching to the choir with you on that count.

And I think I did miss my calling as choir preacher.

Hi again Miss SusieQ,

I have no idea why but my initial gut response to you was that you were somehow subtlely being hostile to me or some finely graded variant of that. And now more than two weeks later that inexplicable feeling has diminished to some degree but there remains an undefinable lingering mystery element that continues to defy my understanding of it.

Nothing to worry though as it's most likely just me being completely neurotic.
