About That Test Drive....

It's been a while since I've written a new post. That's partly because the entry about McKenna (while healing) took more out of me than I anticipated. But please don't misunderstand--I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I thought it would help another person in that situation. The other part of the reason is that Mr. Potential kidnapped me for the weekend, and uh, how can I put this? Well, he uh, kept me busy, okay?

In my post Fuck, Have Sex, or Make Love, LustyTaurus asked when I was taking him (Mr. Potential) out for a test drive. We finally had that test drive this past weekend. Now I'm not sure just who drove whom, but I will say, it was a helluva ride! As I am learning, Mr. Potential doesn't do anything halfway. No, he wanted the mood to be right, and it couldn't have been more perfect! He took me to the most romantic old lodge, The Salish Lodge (check out their website!) and it was incredible!

He made the reservation a week after our first date because he wanted our first time together to be romantic, special, and unforgettable. He hit the bull’s-eye on all three! I'm not going to go into detail here--some things are meant to be cherished just by the participants--but I will say that my kiss theory wins again..

In addition to the afore alluded-to activity, we also hiked down to the bottom of the falls, had a massage, a pedicure--well, I did, as I couldn't talk him into experiencing that slice of heaven--and several meals to die for.

No, I won't be forgetting my Easter weekend anytime soon. How was your weekend? And how are you going to top it this weekend? I'm not even going to try...

Today’s thought to stick to the roof of your mind.

Congrats, glad to hear that you and Mr Potential are progressing. Spent my easter week with my son, it's the most time we have had together in almost two years. I really enjoyed it and wuld not have traded that time for anything in the world. As for this weekend ....

Congratulations on the weekend!

Sounds like Mr. Potential might need a name change, Mr. Wonderful maybe?

I wish you both good luck.

Sounds wonderful...I am very happy for you. And I know exactly where you were since I live not far from there and have visited the Falls many times. It is a beautiful spot for a romantic weekend.
