I See A BRIGHT Light!

I'm almost afraid to look...but it is so bright - it must be real.

It's a WRAP!! I'm done, I'm getting out of here. I've booked my flight home for next week - and I have no plans to ever come back here.

New Orleans might be a great place -- but honestly, I'm sick of it. No place that makes me stay longer than a month working - is a place I think fondly of.

Sure it's my job..and I love to travel and experience new places and cultures - - but 4 months..is TOO LONG!!

I will be SUPER busy in the next week -- so much to do, so little time. But when the light is there - I don't mind so much.

There's No Place like home - There's no place like home......

Come on Toto - let's get the hell out of here

Meanwhile...back at the ranch, Tonto, disguised as a doorknob, comes off in the Lone Ranger's hand! "Hmm Keemsabe, me drive down road, 90 miles an hour. Left rear wheel of canoe fall off!" "Damn, Tonto, you mean I gotta circle the wagons again?"

If my job changed somewhat every 3-6 weeks, I'd be so happy. Stable job with changing circumstances. Sounds good to me. 9-5 til the day I die, stuck in an office wearing my suit. I'd rather not!

The longest one I've had was 7 weeks. I can't imagine 4 months in the same spot. I like my days on the road. Maybe Houston today, Maybe San Antonio tomorrow, Maybe Austin the next day, and home for the weekend. . . all to start over again next week. You can't beat it with a stick.

Albuquerque this week. Denver if I'm lucky. Business trip to Boston. A little marketing in Orlando. The photography builds up. The trips are fun. . . but I don't think I'd be sane after 4 months in one place.

I'm glad you are looking forward to coming home. It sounds like you deserve to spend a little time playing in your house with your new decorations that you've acquired over the last few months.

I hope you have a safe trip home!

You've seen my pic's - obviously I do not wear a suit! I do love the changing of scenery on occasion...but love the scenery at home much more!

Everything has it's perks - 4 months on road = $$. LOL
Thanks for the well wishes - and happy travels to you!!

Thank you, HotTx. The $$ is the only reason to take the travels at times . . . . well, except for the photography of different places, which is just a hobby.

I'm considering one more traveling job right now . . .but it's a long term one and really far away. Like the kind where you move out and put everything in storage, and sell anything that will be outdated or bug infested if you came back to claim it.

That would be good $$$$$$!

Will leave my bedroom window unlocked just for you. I don't want them arresting you for breaking AND entering...just entering me will be fine. I mean just entering will be fine with me. LOL

Ummmm, watch out for the dog though.
