Looking back on my working life, I am trying to recall how many times I said this!

In truth, I don't believe there were that many! In my younger days, raising a young family, I often worked 6 sometiimes 7 days a week
Thinking about those times, do I regret it? Not really, I was incredibly lucky to have a job that I enjoyed,
The only thing I regret, is the time I lost with my when they were young!

If I had my time again, I think I may have said T.G.I.F. more often.

 I only say TGIF every other Friday since I work the other weekends I do enjoy those full weekends off immensely though, especially if I have the umpalumpas home. Time with them is very special.

 Dave, I said it plenty. I've had lots of jobs where I've enjoyed the work and the folks I worked with, but Friday night and the anticipation of the weekend were as a siren song for me. I had a tendency to focus hard on my work and I tried to excel at it. That wore me out, and I needed those weekends! It's often hard to find balance in our lives.
