Why list Herpes in your profile? It

People have asked me that question.
I have an answer.
Herpes is very common. You would be surprised at the number of people who have it.
By listing it in my profile people who don't have it can move on.This is a good thing.Sooner or later after meeting someone new this issue will come up.
It can be an embarassing deal breaker.

But for people who already have it,I'm simply making myself available. There is no issue here. It's easy because we both already know and it doesn't matter. We have time to discuss important things like where we're going tonight or whether to take the pickup or the bike, whether we should eat on the way or pack a lunch. How much to tip the waiter/waitress.
You know,things that actually matter.

I usually just call it "H" in my profile, but most people know what that means.I meet a lot more people since I listed it and I've made some good friends here.
I started a new profile on Match and listed it high enough to be seen in member searches and I'm getting contacted there too.
This is a good thing. For people who don't have "H" it is usually a deal breaker,so this avoids a lot of trouble.for people who do have "H" they know at least someone they can talk to about it without it bothering me.Honesty is the best policy. There is no softer pillow than a clear concience.

Wow I applaud you for your honesty. Most men would say nothing.

I hope you find someone soon

You convinced me. I'm new to A D F, and I didn't know how I would address this issue. It was never an issue before because my wife was infected, too. Now I'm single again. I'll definitely list H in my profile. It'll save a lot of time for more important matters.
