Monday at the Pool and Beach

Monday was the last full day in the Bahamas. I planned to spend it relaxing around the pool and on the beach. The morning was beautiful with white fluffy clouds, lots of sun, and I got a good spot on the pooldeck. I stayed at the pool awhile, then went down to enjoy the water and walk on the beach. I collected some small shells to bring home and place on my desk to remind me of the beach. I met the "bead lady" and found lots of neat necklaces to bring home to my dear friends. I found a special one for Impish Pixie made out of shell particles, so she could have the ocean at her fingertips.

I ended up partially under an umbrella since I had gotten too much sun on Saturday, and the sun burned on my arms and face if I didn't keep them out of the sun.

Had my last dinner, and went upstairs for the entertainment, to find the band was off. We were sent to the Hurricaine Disco for a comedian, who was pretty good. I bought the neatest shirt after his show that he was selling:

I don't want to parasail
I don't want to jet ski
I don't want a cigar
I don't want to Booze Cruise
I don't want a t-shirt (except this one)
I don't want s&^%

Then it was back upstairs for the funky fashion show. The entertainment coordinators were dressed entirely in plastic bags and foil. It was very creative. Then we had a magician, and then a scavenger hunt.

Off to bed as the next day was a travel day (and little did I know at that time that it would be the travel day from hell)

I had an awesome time. I would highly recommend this resort as a great place. There are some good deals off season for Breezes, and all-inclusive is such a great way to go to have a worry free vacation.

It's beautiful and wearing it not only keeps me close to my beloved ocean, but also to my beloved sisters. You are an Angel. Now hurry up and take care of the puppy and c'mon back down to play in the sand.

I make mistakes, I am out of control & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn

I do so want to come back down and play in the sand. And you are very welcome. It said your name the minute I saw it
