Wonderful Weekend

Some days, everything goes right, spent Saturday morning chatting, listening to music and doing a few chores, my dear lady was at collage, when she retuned we ate, slept and then went late shopping, she baked a cake, and then watched a film, then late to bed.

Sunday, more relaxing in the morning, I chatted, blogged and listen to my favorite music, she read her book.

In the afternoon, friends round for coffee and cake, then off to "Dance in the May" with even more friends. we arrived just after the Maypole had been erected, went off for a short walk though the forest, returning to meet even more friends. Soon we were 12, we watched the girls in their traditional "Dirndls" dancing, ate, drank, danced laughed and joked half the night away.

Then off to the celler bar, it was packed, not many people there under 40, and loud rock and blues music.

We danced, sang, flirted, and smooched the night away untill the early hours.

The few younger ones watched in amazement as the "older generation" sang and danced their hearts out.

For the encore we were treated to a 45 minute medley of some of the best rock and blues ever written.
Arriving home very late, or early, we sliped into bed listening to "Cream's Farewell Concert", and fell asleep in each others arms

Monday, we awoke late, more chatting on-line , book reading, and relaxing.

In the afternoon , a short visit to the "Bockbierfest", walking around, smiling and chatting to neighbours, friends and waving at familiar faces, slightly tipsy arriving home, to cook family meal, with son, daughter and her boyfriend.

Alone, we watched "Calander girls" a delightful film, then once more asleep in each others arms.

The best pleasures in life, are indeed the simple ones.
