Why join a group when you don't really want what they have???

I've noticed it a lot... I tend to stick to the "BBW" groups, since that is, in fact, what I am. So sometimes I go looking through the list of members (well, except on the Classy board, there's over 5,000 of them!) to see if anyone catches my eye. I especially will do this on a local board - for obvious reasons. So I find one whose profile is intelligently written, I'm attracted to the picture on the profile, and I scan through the Mutual Match section... only to find a giant red X in the "Body Type" square. WHY, WHY, WHY??? I mean... I am not offended by anyone who isn't attracted to my size. Really - it takes all kinds in this world, and I am glad not everyone is attracted to everyone else (see previous posts for that info). But... why be a member on a BBW board, if your profile indicates you are NOT looking for an "ample" body type?

Part of the problem is the way AdultFriendFinder defines body size...what's the difference between large/a little extra padding/ample. I'm not sure what they mean...so someone may classify themselves as Ample...while in the eyes of others they may be large or a little extra padding.

Maybe they changed their mind but they're too lazy to update their profile. If they're in the chat room, give them a try. =)

Personally, I don't discriminate. I've been big in the past myself.

I think WowieZowie hit it...The definitions for what AdultFriendFinder has in the profile choices are very vague. I don't count out a person based on size unless the person is just so large that the shear mechanics make it impossible.

You may look at my profile and see a X and think that I am not interested. However I may look at your pictures and think that you are attractive.

You can mark the "prefer not to say" but then people think you are hiding something....it's a strange situation and I feel for ya.

I don't pay a whole lot of attention to that compatibility box because information like body type is so subjective and really only counts if you can actually see the person in pictures, camming or in a real meet and greet.

love your Blog

I think there are several reasons why guys respond to BBW women yet list every other body-type as their desired choice: 1. They don't want a 'fat' chick cuz that's not what 'society' says is the most attactive size and 2. All men, regardless of how THEY look or what they're PACKING, think they DESERVE a Pamela Anderson-type. However, they're torn (as your other poster noted) because Pamela Anderson-sized boobs don't occur in nature on size 0 bodies!! And we all know how most men like boobs!!

So men would rather SAY they don't like BBW (so they don't get emails from a bunch of chicks they don't want) but if they happen upon the one with big-enough boobs and a cute-enough face - they'll BUMRUSH her!!

(who used to be a size 7 in an A-cup who is now a much larger size with 42D's)
