The end is nigh...

"So sorry, it's nothing you did, in fact your plant was the best we had. It's just not the new business model we envision. So sorry and all that and, perhaps, would you all mind not working 12 hours a day 7 days a week so we can meet our aggressive plan for closing?"

Thus spoke the three serious, nodding heads from corporate headquarters in biblical fashion after telling 128 people that their jobs were going to Mexico. (Ironically, 75% of the employees losing their jobs are Mexican.)

So some time around the end of December, another US business venture will be located outside of the US.

If enough politicians open their minds to the Fair Tax plan currently sitting before our federal House of Reps, businesses like this one will come back.

I just finished the book on the Fair Tax written by Neal Boortz, and the only critique I've heard so far is that it will devastate the poor, women, children, dogs, old people, etc., you know, the usual squawking whenever anyone proposes any kind of reform at the federal level.
