Cheers

Now I have made it very clear that I like nothing more than a good pint.

Personal favourites are Guiness (I love the Liffy Water), Urquell (a most excellent Czech beer) and my bevvy of choice: BODDINGTON'S CREAM ALE (from the tap).

Now contrary to popular belief Guiness and Boddies are not served at room temperature. They should be served around 45 degrees. Urquell should be served ice cold.

So when I stand you guys a round, what am I buying. And when you buy me a round, the only thing I do not drink is Budweiser.

mood = thirsty

Mmmm... Guiness... The stuff of life.

My list would have to include Young's Double Chocolate Stout as well, however. If you haven't given it a try, I seriously suggest finding a pint somewhere. Yum!

and that is why Prague is one of my favourite places in the world that I have visited - and I will be sure to visit it again next summer after the world cup is over in Germany.

Prague is full of lovely, good tempered, beer drinking ladies - it is only rivalled by Oslo and Helsinki in that regard.

KhaosKitty,

My friend who owns the pub that I drink at has promised to get me some of the double chocolate stout so that I can try it. He said it is good so I should like it.

My father's beer of choice for years was Young's Tartan Bitter.

I love MOST of the German beers, particularly the Pilsners..I went to school in Bitburg and didn't care for the beer then, but learned to love it afterward. The Bavarians make a better brew than the northern Germans..

Czech beers (that spawned Budweiser 150 years ago) are as much a favorite.

Brit beers haven't worn well with me...I like the lighter fare.

Asian and Mexican beers are variations of flavor but generally good drinks.

Most of the Canadians are above-average..I don't think I ever had a Rolling Rock until I went to the Austin Rugby pitch a few years ago..

All-around favorite is still Foster's..I found that wherever you go..Americas, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Asia...you can always get Foster's...

Foster's is a particular favourite of mine. It's like Heineken. It's everywhere and it always hits the spot.
