What Has Been the Best Dinner Date You Have Ever Been On...?

okay so i've asked super hot hippy-style lady out for another coffee.
i really want this to work out for the both of us and i know she's interested in me and i know that i really want this to be a long-term thing, even if there is no commitment.
she's hot on every level, intellectual, physical, spiritual.
she's funny and articulate, she has gorgeous eyes and a fantastic body and she has that patience, calmness, kindness and understanding of someone who has a lot more depth than your average coffee house pastry.

you name it and she's got it.

now, i know i'm being overly optimistic, but what happens if everything goes right and i get a chance to ask her out to dinner?
where the hell do i take her?

a steakhouse?
i know there's lots of meat there, but that may diffuse my chances lol.
i really want to impress her without being an arrogant jerk, so i'm looking for the right atmosphere.
do i bring flowers?
do i order for her?
what type of dishes do i order that will tell her that i'm both interested in her as an independent, free-thinking woman and that she makes me as horny as hell (well, hornier than my usual self after not having intercourse for a VERY, VERY long time after my last horrific break up with my ex-fiancee).
i don't know yet what type of food she likes because she's old school and believes people should get to know each other through conversation, rather than through a posting on a website.
don't get me wrong, i appreciate and agree with her sentiment.
but right now i have no info on what types of food she likes, where she likes to eat, etc.
i'm flying by the seat of my pants on this one.
it's actually quite exciting and quite terrifying.
i don't want to make too many mistakes.
i'm really nervous.

anyhoo, what i wanted to ask everyone is this:
what was the best dinner date you can remember and what was it that made that dinner special?
what did you eat?
where did it lead afterwards?
and finally do you have any advice for this nervous nick about what to do about making a possible dinner date very special for a very special lady?

Thanks everyone.

i'll keep you posted....

thanks happygirl.
maybe i can convince her to dine in ohio.
any recommendations?
yah, i'm learning quickly not to stress about the food.
but a friend of mine has the right idea, life is nothing but sex and food.
i'd add communication though.
