Football Update for Jan 14th/15th

So...I'm 3 for 4. Not too bad. Colts couldn't pull it off today...but at least the Pats are OUT. YES!

Panthers came through and kicked ass this eve...I thought with the home field advantage for the Bears, they might get it.

So are the Playoffs for next weekend...

We got the Panthers at Seattle. I'll be rootin for the Panthers. This is going to be a tough game for them. Seahawks kicked ass this weekend and they will have the home field advantage. If it's still raining like a mofo, I have a feeling this will be the Panthers downfall. I will say that whichever way it goes, I'm happy with either team going to the Bowl. Seahawks are a pretty kick ass team from what I saw over this weekend.

Then we have the Steelers at Denver. I'll be going for the Broncos. I think it's going to be a really tough game though. Yeah, they may have home feild advantage, but the Steelers play hard and rough. I don't know if the Broncos will be ready for them. They're gonna have to be prepared to play hard and take no prisoners if they want to win it. Those Steelers guys are HUGE and MEAN. Hopefully the Broncos can bring it.

So, whatcha guys think??
Who are your picks?

My money will be on the Panthers and the Steelers. Both teams seem to be firing on all cylinders right now. I don't think the Broncos can win a game on their own. The need the other team to screw up (ie the Pats 5 TOs). The Seahawks have had too many close calls this year against mediocre teams, and I don't think they have everything it takes to get to the superbowl.

I go for the Seahawks/Broncos. Huge bronco fan! Seahawks..just cause they used to be in the AFC West..and also if ya remember when Denver beat Green Bay Same Head Coach. I'm just glad that Denver got passed their first playoff game. They also have been way under-rated. They are as good as they have shown..I don't care for the Panthers they have a damn good defense. In the past though Delhomme has proven that he isn't all that. Steelers? Hit hard? If I remember right they have the same base defense as the Pats..Denver picked them apart..I see a repeat.
There that is who I'm going with..Since Chicago was my orginal hope for the NFC Champion.
The most important thing though..No Patriots..I'm so sick of that team.. Enough rambling? I was just warming up!

My sweet sprite... as you could probably guess... my sadness rates very high right now... Not that it's any of your fault, but I'm pretty ambivalent to the SuperBowl matchup now... even though I'm going to the Seahawks game on Sunday.

Thanx guys for the feedback!

Cowboy: I really don't know all that much about football. I only came in about half way through the season and I really wasn't watching very many games. It was my hons fault for getting me wrapped up in the Giants

JT: I know hon (I was freakin happy as all hell that the Panthers won. sorry...hehe.. but I was ) pretty much what you're going through is what my hon is going through. Since the Giants got slaughtered, he just doesn't really care now. See, that's what's great about not having a set team! I could care less. I just go game by game. I also tried to make him see the logic that he should WANT the Panthers to win, because then that shows that they really are THAT good of a team and played really well and not just that the Giants played like shit. See the logic in that?? hehehe It'll be o'tay hon. Breathe. And just enjoy the rest of the games. And be happy that the stinkin Pats are OUT of there! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
