Some Girls Do

Everyone seems to have an opinion on this.

Women who display pictures that show pubic hair or pink bits are frequently criticised by a lot of the regular blogers, usually in the abstract.

A word to those critics, irrespective of their gender:-

Dont judge me or anyone else who feels that she has a body worth furnishing her posts with.

Lets get it over with now. Theres my pussy pic right there.

Its my body, my picture, my pubes.

Its my right to display my pictures any way I wish to. You dont have to look.

If you feel the same way I do, Flash it

If you like to walk along a city street feeling nothing but air under your skirt, Do it

If you get arrested, call me

Comments are welcome as are arguments.

I support people posting whatever pictures they can get past the AdultFriendFinder censors (and I like skin pics). But I suspect many of them don't understand that they are counter-productive! That is, they repel people rather than attract them.

I think it goes deeper

My question is what gives them the right to judge?
Its your blog/page/profile - its your decision what you put up for public view.

People will always take some dort of moral ground on something and be judgemental etc. Its supposed to be a free world so yes they can say what they like, BUT it doesn't mean that the rest of us HAVE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT.

Elizabeth - you have one stunning figure - and a mind to match!
The rest of us ignore them and carry on with life and so they use the media to get traction to their ambition and so Governments around the world continually pass new laws that reign back personal freedoms because of judgementalists and their views.

Why is it that people who pass judgement all the time expect an demand to get their on own way.

To hell with them I say, speak up for freedom!

I do believe it is your right to put anything or say anything on here. If others do not like it then why are they looking at it or reading it. I must say though I like any pic you put on here.

I don't believe for a moment that it's a moral or even philosophical stance anyone is taking when they judge. It's far less high-brow than that. Self-interest is the reason.

Women who dismiss pictures of other women's 'pink bits' (I enjoyed the euphemism) are, I believe, not doing anything different than those women who write things like "I'm not here just for sex - I have more class than that". In each case there is a reaction to something that is intimidating to them: another woman's overt and confident display of her sexuality. The answer? Dismiss it as somehow inappropriate or irrelevant. To do that you need a premise and the one that is picked is usually (because it's most convenient) based on some notion of it being vulgar. In this way an uncomfortable comparison is neatly avoided.

The basis of my belief? My own sentiments. When I first 'arrived' on this site I felt the same discomfort. A dazzling array of six packs and defined torsos, pretty men with more collagen than I've lost; not to mention cocks of a size I didn't believe existed. And I'm not a decaying fat boy; just an ordinary bloke. I felt first intimidated, then bad about myself, then set with a certain sense of hopelessness - no way could I compete.

I've got over it and quickly. But for those who don't, by far the easiest thing is to Annex the whole notion as somehow discredited.
