Good and bad...

Bad...Today was a good day...but also a sad day! One year ago today I lost my father... I still miss him terribly. But, life goes on and I know he still watches over me.

Good..Today my granddaughter turned 1 month old and small milestone in her journey of life. Also, I have talked to my new guy friend on several occassions and with each call we are learning more and more about each other... pressing forward to saturdays meeting.

Bad...Some JERK..(and you know who you are) sent me some real hate mail because I did not respond to HIS email. PLEASE ... get real. I can not respond to everyone!! I get lot's of messages every day... and in oreder to reply to them all I would have to quit my job and stay home on the computer 24 hours a day. Now..granted I am looking for the ONE... and I realize just like everyone else we have to search him out. So...please don't be mean to me because you did not get what you want. And to top it off... acting that way certainly will not get you what you want with me.

Good... I won a 4 day cuise today! YEAH! My office gave away several trips today in a contest...and guess who got lucky? Yep..ME!! So... now I have to find the ONE to go with me...for 4 days and 3 nights on a Carnival Cruise. I have never been... and am very excited about the venture.

If you are reading this and have been on a cruise...please share your stories with me I would love to hear about them.

Good night to all... and tomorrow is yet, another day!

WOW!!! A Cruise! COOL! I went on one 5 years ago or so. Here's a hint: STARVE yourself for at least a week before you go! A cruise is a 24 hour party and buffet (they don't serve chicken nuggets on there either). When I went on one, everyday at the dinner was different motif(?), like one day was western day, another day was oriental day, one day was seafood day. There are no prices on the dinners, order whatever you want. If it's not on the menu, ask for it and they'll make it for you pretty much no matter what it is. Everything is exotic, fancy food that you may never order anywhere else. Like escargo, or I had raw oysters (the one and ONLY time in my life I had those). Deserts are out of this world. There are buffets all the time somewhere on the boat. They have midnight parties, live bands, more food and dancing. It really is a 24 hour party so gets LOTS of sleep and STARVE for awhile before you go! It will be the time of your life!!!

P.S. I am really sorry to hear about your father, I really am. God has this whole thing planned out for us and everything happens for a reason; the cruise, your new grandbaby, your date, your job, everything. It is all in His hands. Congrats again on the new grandbaby! Ray
