Life at 2 am

I saw her at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub. I saw her at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub. She was exquisite in an intimidating way, adorned in a black outfit with matching purse and diamond thumb ring. This girl was dressed for business.

A thought crossed my mind to talk to her, but this girl was dressed for business and I didn't want to disturb her. She was probably waiting for a boyfriend - some millionaire investment tycoon with a body like Adonis. So I talked to other women instead. Stupid move. Silly girls were boring and trying too hard to find out if the myth about black men was true. I'm not one for stereotypes or games.

I saw her in The Ritz. I saw her in The Ritz. The bar named by Playboy Magazine as the number 27th meat market in the country. She was there with a friend - glowing like sunshine with that special tan that you can only get in Colorado. This time, I talked to her.

Come to find out that her and her friend were Irish, here on work visas. They proclaimed to be looking for American men. I told her I saw her in Jack Quinn's, but was too taken back to talk to her. She replied by saying she saw me as well, but thought I was too hot to talk to.

Why do women do that? Don't they know they're the selective sex. No man in his right mind is going to make a woman feel bad for approaching. Don't they know that, more than sex, we long to hear a beautiful woman say "I love you". Now she's at home masturbating, and I'm in my hotel wishing there was an Irish girl in my bed. Life's a bitch at 2am.

Missed opportunity.... took two chances to get the confidence up! Live and learn... and enjoy it for what it was (if not all that it could have been).
