picture shy/obsessed ?

Are you camera shy ? Or can you just sit in front of the camera and have your pic taken without a second thought ? OR are you the one that runs and hides to get away from the cam ? Do you consider you are the camera man itself? do you like taking pictures ? yet i think this may follow along the lines with those who are not afraid to have their pic taken, their not afraid to take press the red flash button eather, yet thats my opinion, is this true, what are your answers for the above statement ?

I pose for pictures. I used to hide, but then I became yearbook advisor. If I didn't like photos taken of me, then how could I ever expect the students to sit still for a shot?

i am never camera shy. i love snapping my own pics more than having others to take my pics cuz i "think" i know which angles make me look good i'm definitely not a good cameraman in general tho. i am always envious of people who can take really good pics and capture all the best moments in the pics

the camera never bothered me until after I had my daughter..funny how a small box can make a person cringe when produced..lol

Being the dad, I am usually behind the camera and rarely in front of it. Generally I do not fear the camera when it is pointed in my direction.

digdug41 I was wondering about that green tint not long ago of your pic-its funny how strongly we need technology -even if its a green tint or greener like "Mandy"'s-but hey it works, and we get by !

Synn74 technology these days, the cameras can do allot more than do the normal snap or click, where it can make one totally nervous and make another smile (how ironic)

sassybelle21 I believe the A-F-F monster ate my post to you, so ill just write another one !

I feel most comfortable taking my own pics as well, even with the timers gives me a chance to get ready, yet i always feel sheepish and sometimes embarrassed giving a movie director type orders to stand right here, get on one foot, trust me the angle is going to look great ! (well not that extreme yet the point is hopefully taken)

keithcancook-im not shy of the cam-my parents used to call me a camera hog, cause in many of pics growing up, my head is way in the back peeking while taking a picture of nature or a building or something or it would be a up close with a cheezy grin

I hate having my picture taken, especially if it's with a flash. I suffer photosensitive migraines. As a result, the only time a pic can be taken of me when I'm not cringing or hiding my eyes from the flash bulb is when I'm trashed. The flash doesn't hurt then. I'm totally trashed in both my profile pics. But try to take a pic of me sober and I come out looking like a crack addict. There was only one person who could take a decent pic of me sober, a newspaper photographer. But I moved out of the area and haven't seen him since.

hey
well... i hate having my picture taken. mainly due to well... i think i look bad, usually. (the times i've felt i looked seductive, mischeivous, or just that extra special "glowing" for no reason... there's never a camera to be found). i also reaaaaaally hate the "stand there, look at me, smile" bit (got in MANY arguments in Egypt over that one. my friend could not understand why i wouldn't stand in the picture when all the other tourists were). although my favorite pics of all time was taken by a glamour photo studio. The photographer was quite sexy, and was flirting up a storm, and the hardest part of all was not smiling when he said "don't smile". I think he caught 'seductive, mischievous, glowing' all at once. He made me pose too, but he was a professional... it just didn't bother me. (i was also happy-though surprised- he kept putting me in pearls. i look great in pearls, but he had an entire table of jewelry. but he refused anything else for me).

ok ok... rambling... but i like having *surprise* pics taken. i sometimes with i could hire a photographer to just follow me around all day, snapping pics when i'm not aware, because i think those ones always turn out best. (not surprise like jump in your face, "surprise!")
