Spot the drunk ???

Here is another photo taken at the Wigan meet on 22 July 2006.

This time it is of Fitbloke and I. He is a great guy and we got along like a house on fire.

It had to be the hottest night of the year and I think I am looking a little bit drunk.

Thank you Phoenix639 for sending me the photo. It brings back happy and cherished memories.

You do look happy, Tony, and a little pie-eyed, too! FitBloke must have been re-invigorated by his cool moves on the sidelines of the dance floor.

I will tell you a little secret K, The barman at the little fifteens called me over earlier on in the evening and told me that somebody from the States had ordered a round of drinks for us as a surprise. Of course I didn't tell the others and downed the drinks at the bar.

Shushhhh, Mums the word. lol

Well I knew SOMEONE got the drinks---the Visa doesn’t lie! And really, that’s okay if you hogged all the drinks for yourself, but come on, did you have to order the Plymouth, the Hendrick’s, and the Bombay Sapphire brands of the mother’s ruin? What? Boodles or Gilbys wasn’t good enough? You have some splainin’ to do, Antionette!

Now i know why he kept disappearing for about 20 minutes at a time & coming back with an umbrella stuck in his shirt, behind his ears, in his back pocket........& a smile on his cheeky face.

I thought he had found a lovely friend!!!

Edward Mayhoff 'Ed' Grimley was a character introduced on the television series SCTV and later used in Saturday Night Live. He was devised and played by actor Martin Short.

He is a hyperactive, neurotic nerd with a large frontal cowlick who is obsessed with banal popular culture, especially Wheel of Fortune and its host, Pat Sajak. He also loves to play the triangle, which for him consists of playing a recorded musical piece, striking the triangle once, and then wildly dancing to the recording. His catch phrases include "totally decent" and "I must say."

After achieving popularity on SNL, Grimley became a cartoon character on Hanna-Barbera's animated show The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley (198. In each episode, Grimley would have an adventure of some sort, interspersed with science lessons from The Amazing Gustav Brothers, named Roger and Emil, and a 'scary story' presented as a show-within-a-show by Grimley's favourite television host, Count Floyd.

I must say K, That's not totally decent of you.

Thanks Meli, You are too kind. Honestly

As you can see the only smiley I can get to work is the tongue puller. Pretend it is a wink.
