Oh Flower of Scotland

As quite a few of you know, i am heading back home to Scotland on Sunday for a holiday. I am looking forwards to hearing Scottish accents around me and experiencing the unique hospitality and humor again.
I am a very, very proud Scot. My first born has a Scottish name(his dad had no choice in that).
I only have to hear the skirl of the pipes and my heart fills with pride. Watching Scotland play rugby brings out some wild woman who screams at the TV. As the teams come out onto the pitch and the anthem is sung.....Oh Flower of Scotland. I am not ashamed to say i start to cry and sing along at the top of my voice. The final thing that i love( as do women around the world), is a man in a kilt. There is something very sexy about a bare pair of knees showing below 7 meters of tartan.
My country has produced numerous scientists, inventors and pioneers. It also has one of the highest heart disease rates in the world.
I am so proud to be Scottish and when the World Cup matches are staged near my home i will very clearly be stating i am Scottish.
For all of you who have never visited my home country it is worth the time and the money, a beautiful and diverse place.
Practicing her highland fling.

Aye...
Been to the Wallace Monument and seen it from bottom up.
Did also see a Highland game.

So I understand the Scottish..and we have had some dutchies doing the training/coaching of both Rangers or Celtic (or was it Celtic and then Rangers ).

Have a good break there up north.

O flower of Scotland
When will we see
Your like again
That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

Have a great trip...and wave to me cross the Irish sea...xxxx

ps it always makes my hair stand on end too
