Well, I inherited my mom's cuckcoo clock. I'm getting used to the noise, it's kinda comforting to me. The problem is, I jsut can't seem to get it to keep the right time. Any ideas? What do I need to do?

Yes they are loud, till you get use to it.
About your timing problem. Make sure the clock is level!!! If its like the picture, notice the nut on the should move up and down."getting any ideas".
As you move the nut up, it speeds up the time, down...slower.
You might have to turn a nut on a screw.
There might be no way to adjust the pendulum, so check the back and open it up, to see if there is anyway there.
One other hint to keep the clock in good order it to put a little cap of kerosene in the back, only an ounce or so. Keep's it all lubed up.
Hopes this helps.
