why is it....?

whats up with evryone and the apparent need to plan things to death? doesn't anyone do anything on the spur of the moment? there is such a thing as overplanning. haven't you ever woke up one morning and said screw it! im calling in today and having a fun day? i understand when children are involved, one just can't up and leave the young 'uns, ok fine. for those who have no kiddies what is to stop you from going to happy hour on short notice? is it money? is it fear of being seen? or is it the lack of a decent happy hour? that one i can sympathize with, Columbia has no concept on how a good bar should be, but i digress...
all i'm saying folks is loosen up. you'll be a better, happier person because of it.
P.S. since i got no comment on the wonderful recipe i shared, NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Soup Nazi. I remember asking which of the three places you were going to be on Friday night, and I didn't get an answer. Also, some of us do have children. Some of us are raising our child(ren) alone and getting sitters is tricky. When is it that you want to do on this spur?

i must have missed the questions regarding my wherebouts on friday past, i do apologize. "spur of the moment" is without plan. to do things unexpected. to improvise. i love to NOT plan. planning takes all the fun out of things. granted, some aspects of life have to be planned i.e. work, vacations and such, but when a drink has to be planned, well, man i'm glad i'm me.

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me. I was obviously confused on the issue of "spur of the moment".
