The Times are Changing--

Something's in the air...something's got to give. These damned fuel prices. I'm thinking the economy is being disrupted so that the military will appear to be a good alternative to civilian life.

It's going to take a lot of soldiers to subdue the Middle East and control the flow of oil, or whatever the plan is...the government keeps me out of the loop, so I can only speculate.

This resurrection of Puritanism is beginning to infringe on the constitutional right to the pursuit of liberty and happiness; without liberty and happiness, is it really life? We’re liable, at some point, to be compelled to pledge some sort of allegiance to a way of “life” that runs counter to our personal convictions.

I know I don’t want to be compelled to “believe” that there is one God and that God encourages war, torture, greed, exploitation, sexism and racism. I wouldn’t be too high on the idea of being coerced into attending church on Sundays, but how far does it go? “If you’re not with us, you’re against us.”

Rapid City greatly restricted exotic dancing; the trend is sweeping the country. Janet Jackson damned near caused a national crisis with that super bowl stunt and then there’s Clinton…

At least there’s little chance that the presently reigning potentate will be getting a blow-job after hours…Puritans don’t do that, do they?

The powers that be are probably indulging themselves in the party of all parties...guess they can afford it--
