Killer Instincts

Would you be capable of murder if the circumstances gave you no choice? As a mother I know my primal instinct is to protect my children with all means available, life included.

In declaring my love for my husband I have said I would do anything for him. But would I really? Most likely not, because there are already a few things I have said an emphatic "NUH UH!!" too.. I make no apologies for that.

But there are enough people in this world I would happily extinguish..and they all have directly and intentionally stolen something from me I can never reclaim, my innocence.

I detest admitting I have issues and have wished for that those things never happened to me, but in saying that hasn't it all contributed to who I am today? I read, listen and discuss the topic of; you must acknowledge your past in order to embrace your future..something along those lines..What about if there are some horrific events that dominate your memory of life past?

The strange thing for me is that alot of people in similar circumstances are doing the same thing, venting in nano seconds of time for fear of being judged unfairly..

Why is that? Or have I simply over thunk this all? Another one of my vices!

Balibabe, I recommend you look at the book Dianetics by L Ron Hubbard. It'll tell you how to handle distress from the past.

I may look it up...isn't that the guy who founded Scientology? If it is...no offence...but I won't be looking into that. I have some serious issues with that guy! But thanks for caring...

Yeah that's the guy. I used to hate him but I got on their mailing list and I read their promotional literature.

Then one day I decided I really liked what he was about. Now I think he's the greatest next to JC. lol

But I can understand if you don't want to look into it if he bugs you or something.

Hmm ...Well, murder is a terminal step

I have been heard to say " I would be prepared to kill for the ones I love, But I would be prepared to die for my children".

It's an unusually comforting feeling when you love that much.

Well I'm late,No thanx to the site....But this post was really good...
I swore that with my ex to be and at the time, I not only meant it,I would've died in the process if need be there...that was then..
But My daughter, from another relationship, That is a different story! I'd give my life and my soul there

Its uncanny that no matter what race, colour or creed when the love is pure you can find a child wrapped in it's warmth.
