'Way too much!

With all due respect to presidents past and present, one cannot "grow" an economy. One may "grow" a tomato and other protein life forms, but not abstract, mathematical concepts such as an economy.

And "literally" means "literally". Not "virtually". Not "nearly". And not "metaphorically".

"Impact" is a noun, not a verb.

"'Way", as in "'way too cool" is derived from "away", meaning "by a long distance or interval" and should be preceded by an apostrophe to represent the missing "a".

Anyone want to tackle "marriage"?

surely if an economy expands then the term growth is merely a definition. As such someone who stimulates and allows this process to happen and even instigates moves which directly lead to said expansion can claim to help grow the economy.

Should we not allow analogies in language. Its the diversity of language that makes it so interesting.

For instance everyone would know what you meant when you mentioned economic growth, so why then do you claim it is wrong usage.Surely usage is directly related to understanding. As such I would contend whatever type of concept an economy may be growing it is a fine and dandy pastime.
